Please enjoy the Tuscany panorama from the apartment “La PERGOLETTA”. The apartment is based in Spicchiaiola, a hill next to Volterra (PI) where you can enjoy the countryside of Tuscany. The building is part of an historical farmhouse called “Podere La Serra”. The apartment is facing south offering a gorgeous view of the “Berignone e Tatti” forest (a natural reserve nearby). Moreover you can typical “hills panorama” and be fully immersed in the rural countryside of Italy. The place is extremely quite and perfect for enjoying a relaxing sunset with your family. The apartment is placed inside an historical stone farmhouse that has been recently renewed. In the farmhouse is hosting multiple apartments with similar dimentions. The apartment has the typical architecture from Tuscany (e.g. artistic roof with wooden rafters, etc.).
Outside the apartment you can find a garden with a private pergola with a seating area. We really recommend to enjoy some food outside and enjoy the beautiful panorama.
The apartment La PERGOLETTA can host up to 5 guests (3+2) and is divided in two floors.
From the garden you can access directly the living room. In the living room you can find a small kitchen (hob, fridge and microwave oven), a table, a convertible couch (twin beds) and a TV. The small kitchen is equipped with all the necessary kitchenware to enjoy your stay.
At the upper floor you can find a bathroom with a shower box and a bedroom. The bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. From the window in the bedroom you can enjoy the panorama just after you woke up.
Optionally, you’re free to use the private private pergola. There you can enjoy a BBQ (shared with other apartments) in a relaxing environment thanks to multiple deck chairs.
From Volterra, proceed to East in the direction of Colle Val D’Elsa on street number 68. After the crossroad for “Mazzola”, proceed on street 68 for other 3,8 KM (about 4 minutes). Next to Kilometer number 47 (just after the turn for “Ariano”) you will find a smaller road on your left. That road will take you to the farmhouse La Serra at the town Spicchiaiola. Once you left the main road (number 68) you will need to proceed on the road for nearly 200 meters. Finally you will find the parking spot on the back of farmhouse La Serra.

You can get a bus directly from Pisa. Line number 190 will take you to Pontedera. Once in Pontedera, you can take bus line 500 to Volterra. From Volterra you can take the bus line to Colle Val D’Elsa. The bus stop is located on street number 68, just in front of the private road to the farmhouse La Serra.

The apartment is rented on a weekly basis. The checkin is on Saturday from 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM and the checkout is the following Saturday by 10.00 AM.
Please note that for every week you will be charged with a fee for cleaning. Those fees are to be considered on a weekly basis:
Moreover, we reserve the right to ask for an upfront 30% deposit of the total sum for your stay.
For bookings longer than one week we can offer a discount on the final price.

You will receive an answer from the owner with the information regarding available dates and booking procedures. To proceed with the booking, you will need to pay the advance of 30% of the total (fees and cleaning costs are excluded) within 5 days.
We accept payment via either bank wire transfer or via PayPal.
The booking shall be considered confirmed once the money will be received by the property.
The payment of the balance should be carried out within 7 days from the check-in date. Without the payment of the balance, the booking should be considered voided and the advance will not be returned.
